WrestlingJazzy Green of Santa Monica High won her second consecutive state wrestling championship by winning five straight matches in the 103-pound division at Hanford High. She came in first in a field of 34 and went undefeated against girls for the season. She also competed twice against boys, finishing sixth in one meet and eighth in another.“Jazzy is our best technical wrestler and perhaps our hardest worker,” said Coach Mark Black.SoccerThe St. Monica High girls’ soccer team won its first seven league matches and has qualified for the upcoming CIF playoffs.
