The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce hosted a welcome reception for Santa Monica’s new City Manager, P. Lamont Ewell, at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel. In his address, Ewell said, “The words ‘thank you’ seem too inadequate to express my gratitude.” In addition to representatives of the business community, members of the city council, along with Police Chief James T. Butts, Jr., were also in attendance.
