On Sunday, March 19 at 7pm, St. Monica Parish Trepp Center will host a discussion on why the Catholic Church opposes the Death Penalty. Speakers will include actor, political and social activist Mike Farrell, formerly incarcerated and wrongfully convicted Tom Goldstein and Father David Guffey, CSC. Father David will talk about the history of the Catholic Church’s teaching on the Death Penalty.The talk is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served.
