Samantha Greene of Santa Monica High has been named Player of the Year in Ocean League girls soccer. Greene, a junior, is expected to lead the way next season for the Vikings. She is currently playing club soccer and is being recruited by several New York universities. Samohi won the Ocean League championship and reached the second round of the CIF playoffs, where it lost to Mayfair.
