In response to recent incidents of violence in the Pico neighborhood, including a July 7 shooting and a July 11 report of sexual assault, both in Virginia Avenue Park, a community meeting has been scheduled by the Virginia Avenue Park Advisory Board for Monday, July 17, 2006 at 7pm in the Thelma Terry Center at the park at 2200 Virginia Ave., Santa Monica.
