Santa Monica Softball Completes Successful Season:

Santa Monica Girls Fast Pitch Softball has completed a largely successful first season in the American Softball Association.

The highlight was the 12-and-under team coached by Marty Krenan reaching the state tournament, a rarity for a program in its first season in the highly competitive ASA.

The 6-and-under team gained valuable game experience and the 8-and-under squad finished second in a tournament. The 10-and-under team was considered strong, as it had several members of last year’s 8-and-under national champions.

The 14-and-under team played its best near the finish in tournaments at San Diego and Norco.

All-Star rosters for the younger divisions appeared in earlier editions of the Mirror. The 12-and-under and 14-and-under rosters are as follows.

The 12-and-under All-Stars:

Naralie Abel, Jasmine Anderson, Emily Balaguer, Danielle Bush, Lianna Cohen, Willa Ashley, Jasmine Reynosa, Alayna Held, Marisa Keckelsen, Lindsay Levergue, Emily Louy, Christine Padilla, Kelly Ricard.

The 14-and-under All-Stars:

Bailey Lewis, Breanna Serafin, Britney Bland, Caitlin Bartlett, Christina Cavanaugh, Courtney Reamer, Gabie Levesque, Haley Hill, Hannah Minderhout, Jamie Field, Jessica Gerena, Lorin Stephens, Virginia Medina.
