Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center celebrated its 80th anniversary with a street festival on Sunday, Oct. 15. Julian Lee, 14 months, got to meet Shadow, a therapy dog at the hospital belonging to volunteer Diane Sopher. Diane and Shadow visit all sections of the hospital including pediatrics, gerontology and intensive care. Nearly 1,500 people attended the festival. photo by Margaret Molloy
