The Santa Monica Dolphins earned their first win after moving up to the national Rugby Super League with a 14-8 triumph over Old Puget Sound Beach in a Redmond, Washington.
The game was played in a downpour.
Santa Monica, which lost its opener the previous week, was led by Dave Hughes with three penalty kicks.
