Richard Thompson, March 15, 7pm

Richard Thompson is one of the more interesting talents of the last 40 years. He is a terrific guitarist and singer/songwriter who spent the late sixties and early seventies playing with the seminal folk rock group Fairport Convention. Soon afterward he went on to release the solo effort Henry the Human Fly as well as banner offerings such as I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight and Shoot Out the Lights, both with his then-wife, Linda Peters. Thompson is a true original whose influence on the folk rock culture cannot be overstated.
