Montana Avenue Merchants Association (MAMA) kicked off a Mother’s Day fundraising campaign to benefit Camp Laurel, which provides summer programs for children with HIV and AIDS, with a launch party on Friday, April 27. Mayor Richard Bloom and actress Kathleen York were in attendance. Specially-designed t-shirts will be sold all along Montana Avenue through Mother’s Day, May 13. The recommended donation is at least $30 and is tax-deductible. All money raised will go to Camp Laurel.
