A Fast Boat to Catalina: Pacific Adventure Cruises Launches Catalina Adventure at Fisherman’s Village

Invited guests walked the gangplank to Catalina Adventure for the grand opening night party celebrating the new high-speed catamaran that will provide service from Marina del Rey to Catalina. Not your typical “ferry,” this HYAUCAT (hydrofoil-assisted catamaran) is quite luxurious with a shaded sun deck, a private lounge with reclining seats, a wet bar and a fridge. Soon to be onboard will be a flat screen TV that will display a GPS navigation map during the 1-1/4 hour trip.

Catalina Adventure is currently available for charter service, with the Catalina run beginning as soon as its license has been amended.
