Local Architects Win Award for OPCC Center:

Earlier this summer, Santa Monica-based Killefer Flammang Architects (KFA), won a Westside Urban Prize for its design of the new OPCC center, located on Cloverfield Boulevard.

The prize was given to KFA “for its innovative approach in creating transitional housing for the mentally ill homeless.”

As previously reported in the Mirror (November 23-29, 2006), the 22,000-square-foot homeless housing facility was dedicated November 16, 2006.
