Whenever you hear a harpist do something unexpected with the instrument (like play Black Sabbath or Eminem), chances are strong that Lori Andrews is involved. The jazz harpist has appeared regularly on television, performed at the world’s most prestigious jazz festivals, and played for audiences that have included presidents, kings, and even Oprah Winfrey. Performing live with Mark Hollingsworth, Bart Samolis, and Kurt Walther, Andrews’ unique sound and delightful stage presence should not be missed.

A DJ and music supervisor for television and film, Thomas Golubic is perhaps best known for The Great Escape, his late-night radio show on KCRW 89.9 FM that brings together a cross-genre selection of sounds to create a “cinematic” feel. Golubic, though, is not just a voice to be heard Wednesdays from midnight to 3 a.m. He can also be found at Air Conditioned in Santa Monica every Friday night. Inside the hip bar, Golubic is known to play a wide mix of tunes ranging from hip-hop to reggae and from tech-house to rock.
