Roughly 110 new educators were honored with gift bags and raffle prizes at the 13th Annual Education Celebration.
The event, hosted by Le Merigot Beach Hotel and Spa, welcomed educators to area public and private schools.
This year, teachers and administrators were welcomed from the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, Argosy University, Crossroads, Dephi Academy of Santa Monica, the Hill & Dale Family Learning Center, Mt. Olive Lutheran Preschool, and St. Monica Catholic High School.
The Chamber’s Education Committee puts on the event every year to “support excellence in education and promote meaningful business education partnerships with local public and private schools.”
The gift bags were donated by local Westside businesses.
