Veterans Day Drum Circle

Rick Allen, drummer for Def Leppard, created Raven Drum Foundation to provide healing programs for at-risk and incarcerated youth. This drum circle is a fundraiser for Raven Drum’s new Trauma and Resiliency Program to benefit veterans. The fun part is that the first 200 people in attendance will receive free drums (reserve in advance). 3-5pm, $25-$30, kids under 12 free, Topanga Community House, 1440 N. Boring Machine Tunnels Under Metro:

A boring machine dubbed "Angeli" began its underground journey Wednesday to create tunnels for Metro’s regional connector project, which will link up the Blue, Expo and Gold lines in downtown Los Angeles when completed.
