Veterans Day Drum Circle

Rick Allen, drummer for Def Leppard, created Raven Drum Foundation to provide healing programs for at-risk and incarcerated youth. This drum circle is a fundraiser for Raven Drum’s new Trauma and Resiliency Program to benefit veterans. The fun part is that the first 200 people in attendance will receive free drums (reserve in advance). 3-5pm, $25-$30, kids under 12 free, Topanga Community House, 1440 N. Santa Monica’s Pico Blvd. to host LA’s first “Fitness Crawl”:

The Pico Improvement Organization is producing the first Fitness Crawl in the LA area. Sixteen fitness businesses along 2.5 miles of Santa Monica’s Pico Blvd. will hold 10-minute workouts, every 20 minutes on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 8AM – 11AM. All Crawlers will receive a free gift bag and giveaways. Tickets are $5.
