In soggy conditions last Saturday, the Santa Monica men’s Division I rugby team notched a 46-8 conference win against the San Fernando Valley Rugby Football Club. Try scorers included Padraig Cremin, Craig Wells, Luke Wallin, Paul Baumer, Nathan Jones, and Chris Kelley. The game marked the beginning of first division league play in Southern California, which will continue with matches on the road against Las Vegas this Saturday, and at Santa Barbara the following weekend.
