Fafalo

Ziggurat Theatre Ensemble

Friday-Sunday March 21-23

Do something different for the Easter weekend and go see this comic play by Stephen Legawiec. A fantasy about an unlikely king, Fafalo makes use of puppets and of masks custom-made in Bali by master mask-maker Nyoman Setiawan. This is a rare opportunity to see a play performed by a masked cast, and as the Ziggurat Company may be moving to the East Coast next year, now is the time to see them. Fafalo will be playing through April 13. 8pm Fridays-Saturdays/3pm Sundays, $15-$20, recommended for children 8 and over, Miles Memorial Playhouse, 1130 Lincoln Blvd., 310.842.5737.
