Santa Monica Mayor Pro Tem Richard Bloom (r), places a survivor’s medal on Nat Trives, Principal of New Visions Foundation, during the 6th Annual Relay for Life of Santa Monica at Crossroads Elementary School on Saturday, July 26. Teams walked for 24 hours (with team members walking in shifts) around the Crossroads track to fight cancer, increase awareness of the disease and raise much-needed funds to support the services of the American Cancer Society.
