Outgoing Crossroads Coach Has New Job:

Most key players from last season’s Crossroads CIF championship girls basketball team have returned, but there will be changes.

Coach Kevin Cormier, who resigned, is now head coach of the girls basketball team at La Salle High in Pasadena.

The squad’s two seniors are now in college. Channer Miller is playing softball at St. Mary’s, where she has made the varsity as a catcher. Jessy Ekstein is at Syracuse, but is not playing sports.

And Alexa Palacios, an important player who was scheduled to return, has transferred to Beverly Hills High.
