SANTA MONICA YOUTH RUGBY PRACTICE BEGINS:

Training commences this week for the Santa Monica Rugby Club’s 2009 youth season.

Practice sessions are held at Penmar Park (Rose Avenue east of

Lincoln Boulevard), Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Teams range from U-8 through HS (ages 5-18) as described below.

U-8: co-ed non-contact.

U-10: co-ed contact/

U-12 – U-19 play either Boys’ contact or Girls’ contact.

SMRC’s U-14 Boys are the defending Southern California champions.

Rugby season runs January–April. No experience necessary and everyone is welcome. For more information visit SantaMonicaRugby.com/youth or call 310.572.6010.
