St Monica Keeps Playoff Hopes Alive:

Entering the final week of the regular season the St. Monica boys basketball team is in contention for a playoff berth.

A 48-39 home victory over La Salle in the Mariners’ last game improved their record to 16-8, including 4-4 in league games.

Forward James Ward had 17 points and 14 rebounds.

The final two regular season opponents will be Mary Star and Cantwell. St. Monica lost to Cantwell by six points in their first meeting.
