Santa Monica was scheduled to play an Ocean League home game Thursday, April 2 against Beverly Hills at 3:15 p.m.

The Vikings have a 7-5 record and Holly Elander is the leading hitter among the regulars at .474. Meghan Bradley has only three at-bats but has two hits and two RBI.

Most recently Coach Debbie Skaggs’ team defeated Burbank, 4-0, lost to Highland, 2-0 and split a doubleheader with South Torrance, losing 5-1 and winning, 4-1.

St. Monica’s Kiana Dotson has a .429 batting average but doesn’t lead the team in that department. Danielle Cullen is hitting .571 and has nine RBI.

The Mariners, who are 6-5, lost to Culver City, 17-7 and Gabrielino, 6-0 before defeating Alhambra, 3-1. St. Monica then was defeated by Ramona Convent, 8-2 and came back with an 11-3 win over Anaheim.

Brentwood has a 2-6 record. It lost to Marlborough, 13-1 and Marshall, 13-2 before defeating Oakwood, 9-4. No individual statistics have been provided.

Venice began Western League play by defeating Palisades, 4-1 and Fairfax, 6-0 but then lost to LACES, 11-6. The team is 6-5 overall. No individual statistics were provided.

After Palisades lost to Venice, 4-1 it lost a non-league game to Culver City, 6-3 and returned to league competition with a 6-4 win over Fairfax.

Emily Noel is batting .647 and has a team-leading 11 RBI. She’s also the team’s best pitcher. Aarica King is hitting .421.

Neither Crossroads nor New Roads reported any games during the past week.
