Pacifica Christian High of Santa Monica won the first baseball game in its history on March 16 by defeating Pacific Lutheran of Torrance, 11-9.The school has competed in varsity basketball for three years and won a CIF championship in girls volleyball but is fielding a baseball team for the first time. It lost its baseball opener March 5, 7-6.Julian Chavez is the baseball coach. Austin Wilson was credited with the Seawolves’ first win.
