The Dolphins, who are 22-9 overall, will begin the LA City Section playoffs against Banning.With the return of No. 2 pitcher Toby Mills, who was injured most of the season, Venice has overcome a long slump and improved its record to 12-14, including 9-9 in the Western League. The Gondoliers’ regular season schedule ended with a 14-5 win over LACES, a forfeit win over LACES and an 11-2 victory over Fairfax.
