Two Samohi Players Headed To Berkeley:

Two members of the 2009 Santa Monica High baseball team are planning to attend the University of California.

Neither outfielder/pitcher Logan Whitchurch nor second baseman Walker Dove has a baseball scholarship but both are likely to try out for the team in Berkeley.

Whitchurch was the Vikings’ fastest runner and Dove, an all-Ocean League first team selection, led the league in batting with a .706 average.
