St. Monica Loses to Chadwick: Mariners End Season with 8-3 Record

St. Monica lost to Chadwick 6-9

St. Monica High School football team lost to Chadwick 6-9 on Friday in the first round of the CIF regional playoffs.

Despite the defeat, the Mariners end their season with an 8-3 record (4-0 in Santa Fe League).

Next year, St. Monica will be without its leader, senior quarterback Matthew Partyka. Wide receivers Sam Holguin and Jamal Young are also among the team’s core players who will be moving on.
