Community Considers Return of Cirque du Soleil:

The Santa Monica Pier Board decided to push their final decision to the April 12 City Council meeting.

The thought of having Cirque du Soleil back at the Pier in 2012 has various businesses gearing up to handle the potential increase in vendors. Restaurant owner Jeff King and others say more business is great for Santa Monica.

The City Council needs to consider potential problems and discuss them with the Cirque representatives before moving forward.
