Sporting Events, 5-24:

Three area sports teams are competing in major state tournaments on Tuesday.

Fresh off becoming the CIF Tournament Champions, the SaMoHi Vikings boys’ volleyball team received an invitation to the SoCal Regional Tournament. The Vikings will play at Otay Ranch in San Diego tonight at 7 p.m.

The New Roads Jaguars walloped first round opponent Southwestern Academy 26-0 last Friday. They will look to advance in the CIF Tournament against Milken Community in Encino at 2:45 p.m.

The SaMoHi Vikings boys’ tennis team looks to make it to the CIF Finals, taking on Arcadia on the road in the Semis. The match starts at 3 p.m.

The Mirror will have results from all of these sporting events.
