Third generation farmer Irene Irebe.

Since 1981, farmers have gathered in Santa Monica to give people the freshest food available. Today, the city’s farmer’s markets take place about four times a week at four different locations.

From September 14-18, the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market will host the Good Food Festival and Conference, a chance for farmers to learn about the future of the market and how they can keep up the tradition.
