LA BBQ Festival Returns To Santa Monica Pier Sept. 9-11:

After a two year hiatus, the Third LA BBQ Festival returns to Santa Monica Beach, in the parking lot north of the Pier, this Friday through Sunday, Sept. 9-12.

The three day event will feature authentic ‘cue from Texas, Kansas City, Chicago, Santa Maria, Memphis, etc.

Also desserts, more than 30 beers on tap, wine, cocktails and live music.

Regional specialties will include tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and sausages served by such BBQ legends as three-time world champion Butch Lupinetti of Smack Your Lips BBQ in Memphis and eight other nationally recognized pit bosses from all over the country. Friday, 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

General admission is $60 and includes everything from BBQ, drinks, to desserts.

A percentage of proceeds from the LA BBQ Festival will support Noah’s Bark Animal Rescue.

Friday, Sept. 9 is the last day to purchase tickets for the weekend event.

It will sell out in advance and no tickets will be available Saturday and Sunday.
