Halloween may be more than a week away, but the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is celebrating Halloween and Dia de los Muertos today and tomorrow from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. during its event called “A Fishy Fest”.
Activities include a glow-in-the-dark bioluminescence presentation at 1:45 p.m. both days, “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” at 2:45 p.m. both days, Dia de los Muertos crafts, marine animal graveyard, face painting, and more.
Regular features will also include touch tanks with tide pool animals, naturalists’ presentations, more than 100 species of marine life on exhibit, and story time. Children under 13 free, adults suggested donation of $5 or $3 minimum admission fee.
The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is located at 1600 Ocean Front Walk.
