The Doors drummer John Densmore is expected to attend American Cinematheque’s 70mm print screening of Oliver Stone’s “The Doors” in Santa Monica tonight.
“The Doors” is directed by Oliver Stone, is a psychedelicized odyssey through the life of rocker/poet Jim Morrison (Val Kilmer) of The Doors, conjuring the beauty, violence and sensitivity of Morrison’s unique character.
The screening of the 255 minute film is set for 7:30 p.m. at the theater, located at 1328 Montana Ave.
