Veteran’s Day Mass Celebration At St. Monica Catholic Church On Nov. 13:

St. Monica Catholic Church will celebrate a special Veteran’s Day Mass with special prayers and songs on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 11:30 a.m. to remember and thank military veterans and active duty personnel.

All are welcome to attend, and a special invitation is extended to all those who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, along with their family and friends.

Those attending are encouraged to bring pictures of their loved ones, either those who have served or are currently serving, so that the pictures may be placed near the altar before Mass begins.

Founded in 1886, St. Monica Catholic Community includes St. Monica Catholic Church, St. Monica Catholic Elementary School for grades K-8, and St. Monica Catholic High School for grades 9-12.

Their mission is “To make loving disciples to transform the world.” St. Monica Catholic Church is located at 725 California Ave. in Santa Monica.

Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) announced Friday that following a complex investigation, on May 12, 2016, detectives from SMPD presented evidence to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office identifying Schfuncell Whitley in connection with the residential burglaries.
