The largest boutique of its kind on the Westside, Calvary Christian School’s 21st Annual Holiday Boutique, will pulled out all stops today from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the school, which is located at 701 Palisades Drive, Pacific Palisades.
As always, Calvary’s festive, celebratory Christmas Boutique will find the campus transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Guests will enjoy complimentary valet parking and then enter the school through a festive pathway with twinkling lights, seasonal music and all the beauty that is Christmas.
“Additions have been made to the boutique to make it fresh ,” said Kim Kedeshian, Chair of this year’s Boutique. “This year we’re giving our loyal parents and all of our Westside audience something to talk about.”
Such a definition usually includes premium, unique items; hence vendors like Judd Frances, Mud Pie Accessories and Bedhead PJ’s; artisanal foods, including, but not limited to: Cocoaluxe, Malibu Olive Company, K Bakery, Etxea Basque Bread, and take-away frozen Italian meals by the famous Il Forno Trattoria; and special services such as gift-wrapping, for a nominal fee.
The Chairs have also brought in some new clothing vendors they are confident will delight shoppers. Candace Kelly and Ya Living, both from Malibu, will be there to discover as well as the well-known Fred Segal Couture label. The artisanal foods will be congregated in an area labeled “The Market” where Stephanie Grace Floral Wreath Designer of Montana Avenue; and Decorative Lighting Specialists will make the Holidays well-planned and worry-free for those who partake.
Hungry shoppers will find plenty to nourish themselves with the food vendors Calvary now offers, including: gourmet coffees from an European cart; Sushi from Sushi Don, fresh Greek salads from Fiesta Feast; and Pinkberry flavors like Pomegranate to top it all off. In addition, inside the auditorium will be Calvary’s much beloved baked goods display and sale: lovely cakes, pies, cupcakes, strudels, crumbles, cookies, bars, and brownies — including a collection of gluten-free delights as well.
This year’s Raffle boasts more than 100 chances to win, including stunning diamond earrings from Pierre Onassis Jewelry; Round-trip airline tickets to anywhere in the continental U.S.; and gift certificates for upscale travel, gourmet restaurants, and pamper
“It is a privilege for CCS to kick off the Holiday Season this November 4th,” said Head of School Teresa Roberson. “Christmas is such a special time, as we seek to purchase gifts that will honor those we love. All gifts purchased at the Calvary Christian’s Holiday Boutique –this year featuring The New Marketplace — have added value, because not only are they unique and one of a kind, but the gift will also provide revenues to help educate the students of our school, the future leaders of our community.”
