Learning The Faces Behind Santa Monica’s Business Community:

Laurel Rosen

Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce President

In our busy lives we don’t often get a chance to meet our neighborhood businesses and learn more about the people behind their day-to-day operations. We have the good fortune to work in city that is made up of culturally diverse and engaged individuals who take great pride in being part of this community.

The Santa Monica Mirror will be sitting down to have a cup of coffee and a chat with the business people of our community to do just that. What better way to kick off the series than sitting down to have a conversation with one of the most important and beloved members of our community, John Bohn, CEO of The Bradmore Group. John currently sits on the Santa Monica Chamber board and he plays an integral part in guiding the chamber’s goals and objectives on a daily basis.

In the weeks to follow, I hope you will learn a little something about current trends and issues that Chamber staff and its members will report on, in addition to getting to know some wonderful, hardworking people who have set up shop in Santa Monica. We may not always live in Santa Monica, but we live our lives here and help to weave the very fabric that makes our city a thriving community in which all may prosper.

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce is driven to bring people together to support, educate, and inspire each other so they can go out into the world to be successful in their businesses and have the resources to support the community.

Moving forward, the goal of the Chamber and its business members is to look for ways to create dynamic programs that have a lasting benefit to Santa Monica and showcase such inspirational work through this newly launched business page.

The Chamber’s mission is all about collaboration and we would like to thank The Mirror for creating a business page in partnership with the Chamber.
