Celebrate Thanksgiving today in Santa Monica with a full day of free services, entertainment, and a hearty traditional Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Westside Thanksgiving Celebration.
Community members who need assistance with food and services are especially welcomed, but the organization emphasizes the celebration is open to everyone.
No reservations are necessary.
Last year more than 1,200 volunteers served 2,500 meals and distributed tons of clothing and blankets. The organization provided hundreds of children’s immunizations, haircuts, and free medical consultations.
It will be held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, which is located 1855 Main St.
