Last Weekend To Park In Structure 6:

Parking Structure Six

Parking Structure 6, located at 1431 2nd Street between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard, will close this Sunday, Feb. 12 and all cars must exit by 11:59 p.m.

It was previously scheduled to close on Feb. 16, with Feb. 15 being the last day to park in the structure, but the construction schedule has been revised.

The closure is for the demolition and construction of a new parking structure that will have more than 700 spaces, roughly doubling what is currently available, on three subterranean levels and eight above-ground parking levels.

Construction is expected to be complete in late 2013.
