2012 Twilight Concert Series Line-Up Announced:

Paul Johnson (left) and Gil Orr of the Duo-Tones begin the evening theme of 'Surf Guitar' with classic surf sounds during the daylight hours of the Twilight Dance Series on the Santa Monica Pier.

The line-up for the 28th Annual Twilight Concert Series has been announced.

The Santa Monica Pier will play host to all music lovers with the sounds of an international array of top tier presentations that have traveled from such far flung locales as Mali, Cuba, Australia, and Jamaica.

Every Thursday starting July 5, join the crowd that stretches from the Pier deck to the beach and beyond as the Santa Monica Bay’s gorgeous summer days blend into enchanting evenings of family, friends, music, and magic.

JULY 5: Donavon Frankenreiter + Jeff Young.

JULY 12: The Mighty Diamonds + The Lions.

JULY 19: Haim + Wildcat! Wildcat!

JULY 26: Jackie Greene + Rusty’s Surf Ranch Emerging Artist winner.

AUGUST 2: Australia Rocks featuring Kasey Chambers.

AUGUST 9: Parade Collective – Showcase featuring musicians from Cirque du Soleil.

AUGUST 16: Amadou and Mariam + Y La Bamba.

AUGUST 23: Alex Cuba + Lucky 7 Mambo.

AUGUST 30: New Orleans own Hot 8 Brass Band + The Gumbo Brothers.

SEPTEMBER 6: Best Coast.
