This Saturday, June 16, the Annenberg Beach House will kick off the summer season with a special all-day event designed to get visitors into a festive mood.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. visitors can enjoy a DJ as they peruse the day’s activities, which will feature a treasure hunt, chalk art, and Sand Mound Free Play.
Santa Monica Baykeepers will relay the many threats human activity poses to the health of the bay and what you can do about it, while and Heal the Bay will teach about the causes and consequences of ocean pollution.
Guests can also participate in building, decorating, and flying their very own Annenberg Beach House kites.
The Annenberg Beach House is located at 415 Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica.
