What’s Hot: Montana Avenue ArtWalk And Street Fair This Weekend:

The Montana Avenue ArtWalk and Street Fair will be held this weekend.

Montana Avenue this weekend will be transformed into Santa Monica’s longest art gallery.

The Montana Avenue Merchants Association is hosting the Third Annual Montana Avenue Artwalk, a weekend of art, music, dining, and fun.

Shops and restaurants along the ten-block shopping district (from 6th to 17th streets) will feature the work of more than 50 visual artists, live musicians, dining specials, and other surprises.

Art lovers will see original work in all mediums, ranging from photography and fine art, to woven tapestry and jewelry design.

Visitors of all ages will also be able to participate in live art events, either watching new works being produced, or making their own unique creations.

Stores will be offering refreshments of all kinds — from champagne and chocolate, to tea and cookies — and many will be offering discounts on merchandise.

It will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
