Los Angeles Food And Wine Festival Events In Santa Monica Next Friday:

Santa Monica’s most celebrated chefs will team up with star power from around the country next Friday, August 10 at two highly anticipated culinary events at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows.

INDULGE, a multi-course decadent dinner at Chef Ray Garcia’s FIG Restaurant, and SUMMER AT THE SHORE, an unforgettable strolling reception and tasting held under the historic Moreton Bay Fig Tree, are part of the Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival, in partnership with the Santa Monica Convention & Visitors Bureau (SMCVB) and the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce.

SMCVB President/CEO Misti Kerns said the evening would feature plenty of district cuisine and 150 wines from award winning producers.

“Santa Monica restaurants offer some of the most unique dining experiences in LA and we are thrilled to be part of an event that captures the essence of Santa Monica’s distinct culinary scene,” Kerns said. “We hope these events will give us the opportunity to increase Santa Monica’s recognition as an international dining destination.”

SUMMER AT THE SHORE will be hosted by “MasterChef” judge Graham Elliott, and participating chefs from Santa Monica are restaurants include: Nyesha Arrington, Wilshire; Collin Crannel, The Lobster; Ann Gentry, Real Food Daily; Jeremy Grossman, Sonoma Wine Garden; John-Carlos Kuramoto, Michael’s; Silvano Mestas, Ocean Avenue Seafood; Gianfranco Minuz, Locando del Lago; Mark Mollica, La Vecchia; David Plonowski, Bar Pinxto; Laurant Saussy, Brick + Mortar; Nick Shipp, Upper West; and Beth Stockwell, Beachy Cream.

INDULGE is an exclusive culinary event highlighting the flavor and personality of Santa Monica, taking place at FIG Restaurant. Renowned local chefs; Josiah Citrin, Melisse; Raphael Lunetta, Jiraffe; Joe Miller, Bar Pinxto; and Ray Garcia, FIG will come together to create a distinct dinner and features the best of Santa Monica and a distinct collection of wines from California and beyond.

Tickets for SUMMER AT THE SHORE are $150 per person for general admission, $195 for VIP, and INDULGE tickets are $350 per person. An exclusive package for $450 per person offers VIP access to SUMMER AT THE SHORE and a reserved space at the INDULGE dinner at FIG.
