Santa Monica Pier Vendor Cart License Available:

There are up to nine vendor cart locations with a license term of one year on the Santa Monica Pier.

Businesses who would like to operate a vendor cart on the Santa Monica Pier have until Sept. 28 to submit a proposal to the City’s Office of Pier Management.

There are up to nine locations with a license term of one year. The current product mix includes food, souvenirs, apparel, toys, and novelty items.

The objective of the vending cart program is to feature beach and pier related merchandise, specialty retail, and food services, which provide the highest level and quality of customer service that will enhance the experience of visitors to the Santa Monica Pier.

The Request for Proposal and all supporting documents can be downloaded at www.smgov.net/cartlicense.

The deadline for submission is Sept. 28 by 5 p.m. Proposals can be submitted via mail or hand delivered to HED reception desk located at 1901 Main Street, Suite E Santa Monica, CA 90405. All questions and comments can be directed to the Office of Pier Management main line, 310.458.8216.

The Santa Monica Pier welcomes about six million visitors a year.
