Get out your planners and circle Thursday, Nov. 8 — organizers of ICE at Santa Monica have announced this date for its grand opening community celebration and holiday concert.
Downtown Santa Monica’s enormously popular ICE at Santa Monica skating rink returns for its 6th year with the opening celebration starting at 6 p.m.
ICE at Santa Monica is a unique outdoor venue where skaters can enjoy the festive winter season under the stars, located at 1324 5th Street (corner of 5th & Arizona).
In what has now become a community tradition, Downtown Santa Monica is bringing the 6th Annual ICE at Santa Monica back with an exciting Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday, November 8th from 6pm-10pm.
The evening will be hosted by Randy Gardner and Tai Babilonia and will feature entertaining performances by synchronized skating team California Gold and California’s most elite skaters, a holiday concert by Venice, a night of free skating to music by DJ Kelly Dlux and a host of other family-friendly activities.
ICE at Santa Monica will be open to the public daily November 2, 2012 through January 21, 2013.
Admission and skate rental is $12. ICE Bites Café will provide delicious snacks, and a mini kids rink will be available for children ages 6 & under. Special event cabanas and party packages will also be offered. Lockers are available onsite.

Monday-Thursday: 2pm-10pm,
Friday: 2pm-Midnight.
Saturday: 10am-Midnight,
Sunday: 10am-10pm.
