Trainer To Climb Santa Monica Stairs 100 Times This Saturday:

Matt Richter-Sand will climb the Santa Monica Stairs 100 times on Saturday.

Matt Richter-Sand, personal trainer and founder of NX Fitness, will celebrate his 31st birthday this Saturday by climbing the Santa Monica Stairs 100 times to raise awareness for the American Diabetes Association.

He says this is the equivalent of climbing the Empire State Building more than 10 times.

“I couldn’t be more excited to raise awareness for the American Diabetes Association and celebrate my birthday by running the stairs 100 times,” Richter-Sand says. “Our lives are never stagnant – at any given moment, we’re either moving forward or backward. Every year that passes is another opportunity to turn it all around. I want to start my 31st year with a bang!”

He will begin the challenge at 6:30 am and encourages anyone to join him during the feat.
