Bristol Farms will open in mid-summer 2013 in the location formally occupied by Albertsons

Bristol Farms announced Thursday it newest store in Santa Monica will open mid-summer 2013 at 3105 Wilshire Boulevard in the location that was formally occupied by Albertsons.

Kevin Davis, President and CEO of Bristol Farms,  said the company places a heavy emphasis on fresh departments.

“What’s going to make Bristol Farms, Santa Monica so special?” Davis said. “You’re going to have to wait a few months to experience all the new and special elements that our store will offer, but I can tell you we promise to raise the standards of quality, fresh, great tasting food and extraordinary customer service in Santa Monica the instant we open our doors this summer.”

The store will include deli and cheese departments, grab-and-go foods, full service specialty meat, seafood, and sushi departments, and locally grown produce.

Davis said the new Santa Monica store would feature an all new décor package that “celebrates and highlights the spirit and passion of the Santa Monica community in a fun and exciting manner.”
