Santa Monica Public Library will host a special afternoon program with best-selling children’s book author Pseudonymous Bosch on Sunday, April 14 at 2 pm.
Musical sketch comedy troupe, the Story Pirates, will also be featured in the program, which will take place in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
Pseudonymous Bosch is the mysterious and hilarious author of the best-selling Secret Series of kid’s mystery novels, which began with “The Name of This Book Is Secret.”
His latest work, “Write This Book,” is a fun interactive companion book to the Secret Series that inspires his young readers to create their own story via interactive puzzles, activities, games and choose-your-own-adventure inspired scenarios.
In keeping with the book’s do-it-yourself theme, Bosch teams up with Story Pirates, the renowned educational musical sketch comedy troupe, and audience members to create an onstage mystery.
A book sale and signing follows the 45-minute onstage performance.
This event is presented free to the public and is open to all ages. Seating is first come, first served.
