Save The Date: Santa Monica Wellbeing Health & Fitness Festival Returns July 27:

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce will present the 28th Annual Wellbeing Health and Fitness Festival on Saturday, July 27 from 12-5 pm on the Third Street Promenade.

Sponsored by UCLA Health, Saint John’s Health Center, and Kaiser Permanente, this annual summer festival celebrates a healthy, active, and happy lifestyle.  

Enjoy free fitness classes, giveaways, and sample treats from local businesses promoting their wellness products and services to more than 8,000 people on the Promenade including 2XU, local dentists, Farm Fresh to You, Health Aid, Wise and Healthy Aging and Santa Monica YMCA.  

Join in on all-day activities including drop in classes for all ages at the Naam Yoga Zone.  

Head to the Wellness stage for a cooking demo from the Chef of Seasons 52 and get healthy living tips from the nutritionist at the Art and Culinary Institute and UCLA dieticians.

Try one of the free classes at the UCLA Health stage including Zumba, fencing, Barre Booty, martial arts, and Latin dance.

Get to know the dogs from the Pet Therapy programs at UCLA Health and Kaiser Permanente booths.  

At the hospital sponsor booths attendees can get their BMI and blood pressure screened as well as “Ask the Doctors” information from pediatricians and geriatricians.

Attendees can cheer on local trainers and fitness professionals at the 2nd annual Santa Monica’s Got Trainers Challenge as they showcase their best five-minute fitness routines that can be done at home or at the office.  

Challenge participants will be judged on their creativity, form, execution, energy, and excitement from the audience, and guest judges Dr. Andy Pritikin (athlete expert at Pritikin Physical Therapy) and Brett Beck (from 220 Fitness).   

The winner will hold the title for Santa Monica’s Best Fitness trainer.
