The Santa Monica Police Department is inviting locals to come out and enjoy a fun and educational evening as part of the National Night Out campaign this Tuesday, Aug. 6.
From 6-9 pm, Santa Monica City officials will be hosting a 30th anniversary celebration of the country wide campaign to promote public safety information in a fun family atmosphere.
The event will feature free food, entertainment, raffles, and carnival games as well as opportunity to see police vehicles and fire trucks up close.
It will be held in the Civic Center Parking Lot at 1855 Main Street.
Free parking will be available in the Civic Center Parking Structure.
