Santa Monica-based Los Angeles Dragons Football Club will host a screening party of the Australian Football League (AFL) grand final this Friday, Sept. 27.
The event starts at 7:30 pm at Busby’s Sports Bar in Santa Monica at 3110 Santa Monica Boulevard.
This year’s AFL grand final is being played between Hawthorn and Fremantle at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. The game starts at 2:30 pm Saturday local time, which is 9:30 pm Friday Los Angeles time.
The screening party will include raffles, mystery door prizes, drink and food specials.
The major prize for the raffle will be two return flights from Los Angeles to Melbourne, including two tickets to the ANZAC Day Match and three nights accommodation.Other raffle prizes include signed jumpers from AFL stars, and tickets to Kings, Dodgers, and Galaxy games.
Entry to the event is $10 at the door, which includes a free beer and a mystery door prize.
