Fairmont To Host Free Holiday Event “Meet Me Under The Fig Tree” Sunday:

The Fairmont Mirmar will host a free family event Sunday to support the Westside Food Bank.

The Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica presents “Meet Me Under The Fig Tree” this Sunday – an afternoon of free festivities including live music, pictures with Santa Claus, whimsical gingerbread houses, seasonal crafts, holiday story readings, a bounce house, and snow.

Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to contribute to the Westside Food Bank to help feed the neediest in the community.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

The Hotel Lobby

Westside Food Bank Canned Food Drive: 2 pm to 6 pm

Ginger Bread Village Display: 2 pm to 6 pm

The Main Stage (live performances)

Santa Monica High Orchestra: 2:30 pm and 3:45 pm

Grammy Award winner Bill Cunliffe: 4:15 pm and 5 pm

Raffle drawings for community partner prizes: 2 pm to 6 pm

The Front Drive

Enjoy culinary treats by FIG Restaurant: 2 pm to 6 pm

Meet local heroes from the Santa Monica Fire and Police Departments: 2 pm to 6 pm

Pictures with Santa Claus: 2 pm to 6 pm

Holiday bounce house: 2 pm to 4:30 pm

The State Room

Tinsel Braid Bar by Meg & Jam: 2 pm to 6 pm

The State Room Garden

Best Friends Animal Adoption: 2 pm to 6 pm

The Study

Holiday cookie decorating: 2 pm to 6 pm

Holiday story reading: 2 pm to 6 pm

The Starlight Foyer

Exhale kids classes: 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Mini massage and Trunk show: 4 pm to 6 pm
